Audiences Central is the audience development agency for the arts across the West Midlands region. Their team consists of a small group of arts marketing and audience development specialists who offer tactical support in a variety of ways. A wide range of audience development projects use group working, professional development and research to address common goals across the arts sector. all facilitated by Audience Central.

Their Marketing Services offering includes print distribution, e marketing, data cleaning and direct mail allowing users to hit exactly the right target audiences for their events, performances or shows. They also offer a full range of campaign management services allowing under resourced or skill gapped organisations to benefit from the marketing skills and expertise. This is supplemented by professional development, consultancy, a full research team offering, networking meetings and of course the ability to act as a advocate of arts across the West Midlands.

Audiences Central and Equal

Audiences Central were appointed to manage the process of telling the many personal journey's that resulted from the Equal: The Last Mile Programme. This involved creating a brand identity for the all of the brilliant work produced by Birmingham City Council, the project partners and the project beneficiaries.

Acting as a campaign and project manager we opted to record two of the personal stories in the Birmingham: the Creative City film. A central resource for all of the partner stories was created at www.creativecompass.co.uk providing a focal point for people to experience the many different benefits of the scheme. Printed literature, film screening, press activity and online social networking will all be utilised to tell these unique stories.
